1. Give your people the right tools to collaborate at home 

Working from home isn’t just about having a laptop. Employees need to stay connected to each other and the company. Keeping clear lines of communication is key. Technology such as Webex, Zoom and Microsoft Teams allow your people to continue to meet each day. Where as technologies such as Workplace, Yammer, and Slack can keep the conversation flowing in an informal way. Consider what your people have now and what they will need.

3. Stay connected to your people 

Working from home throws whole host of new challenges for team dynamics so you need to be prepared to manage them. Working from home can be an isolating experience, especially when it is for long periods of time. Schedule regular one to ones and team standups with your team over video call to check in on them. Use the likes of Workplace, Teams or Slack to keep the conversation going and keep them updated with the latest news.
